In 1990, our founder and owner, Peter Armstrong, launched the now world-renowned Rocky Mountaineer train journey that travels between Vancouver and the Canadian Rockies. What started from humble beginnings, with friends and family given rented tuxedos and persuaded to serve onboard, has grown to an iconic travel experience that has welcomed over two million guests.
 

In 2025, as our family business transitions to the next generation, we are building on this legacy and setting the stage for the future. As Armstrong Collective, we are leaning into our decades of world-class hospitality experience and will continue to help you explore spectacular natural wonders around the world in the years to come.
